Chemical Laboratory Intern
The Chemical Lab Intern supports daily laboratory operations by preparing samples, conducting routine chemical tests, maintaining equipment, sometimes supporting complex reactions and ensuring safety and quality standards are followed.
Position Title: Chemical Laboratory Intern
Location: 17217 Waterview Pkwy, ROC 1.202, Dallas, TX 75252
Reports To: Harsha Kolla, CTO
Key Responsibilities

Prepare chemical solutions and samples for testing

Perform routine laboratory experiments and analyses

Record and maintain accurate test data and lab notes

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

Clean and organize laboratory workspace and glassware

Follow laboratory safety procedures and guidelines

Assist chemists with research and development projects

Monitor inventory of chemicals and lab supplies

Dispose of chemical waste according to safety regulations
Work Environment

Laboratory setting

May require standing for extended periods

Handling chemicals with proper safety equipment (PPE)

What You'll Bring
Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field (preferred)

Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety practices

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail

Good record-keeping and organizational skills

Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with titration, pH measurement, or sample preparation
-
Familiarity with laboratory instruments (balances, mixers, ovens, etc.)

Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures
